2012 Napa Cabernet Best in Show

From all of the great 2012’s of Napa, if I had to pick just one that stands out the most, without a blink of the eye, my answer is 2012 Vine Hill Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon! VHR blew me away when we first discovered it and it continues to knock my socks off with every bottle. VHR is a stunning 100% Cabernet Sauvignon that has been the best of roughly 400 Napa Cabs we have tried from 2012. Leave the hard work to us, we have found the best Napa Cabernet made in 2012 and you need this! This comes from a small western Oakville project that lies directly adjacent to Harlan ($800/btl) and north of Heitz’s Martha’s Vineyard ($350/btl). VHR is made with the best grapes from the same vineyard as Bond’s Vecina bottling that goes for $400+/btl! The 2012 VHR goes for a fraction of the price compared with its neighbors and drank better than all of them when we had them side by side blind. This was also the ‘Best of Show’ at the annual Best of the Best tasting in DFW with over 200 Napa Reds tasted by over 500 people! The best part… we have the LOWEST PRICE IN THE COUNTRY on this amazing wine! A true Napa legend-in-the-making. I just can’t get enough of this badass wine and once you try it, you’ll be begging for more! Just say the word and I’ll stash away an OWC for you.

2012 Vine Hill Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon  750ml

Graileys Price:  $175 bottle!!  | $525 three-pack OWC

96+ Antonio Galloni- “A dark, sumptuous beauty, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon races across the palate with superb depth and intensity. Dark red cherry, plum, rose petal, mocha, spice and mint all meld together effortlessly as the wine builds to a resonant, super-expressive finish. The 2012 should offer a wide window of pure drinking pleasure, as it is far more open than most vintages have been at the same stage. Naturally, today most of the wine’s appeal is in its fruit, so readers who prefer tertiary notes will have to wait for at least a few years. Even today, the wine’s compelling personality exerts considerable pull. The 2012 is just as magnificent from bottle as it has always been from barrel.

I can’t stress enough how awesome the ‘12 VHR Cabernet is! Grab a 3pack or two of this killer Cab- You’ll thank me later for this one; everyone who’s had it always does… For “Pure Drinking Pleasure” contact me directly at kim@graileys.com or wine@graileys.com
