Wow, I thought the Lafon was stunning with quince, toasted popcorn, apricot, white peach, limestone, and summer flowers. But this 95 Shafer hillside is out of this world!! Rustic ripe plum, with wild boysenberry, and blueberries. There is a slight spice that is perfectly integrated with the fruit, just peaking out around the edges with cedar, anise, and clove.
